Triangle Empowerment Center, Inc. and various community partners and sponsors, will be hosting a week of LGBTQ+ community events. These events are during the commemoration of the Stonewall 50th Anniversary and Durham Pride. We are calling these events “Bull City Black Gay Pride, Quiet No More”. It will be held between June 9-15, 2019. The location site in Durham, NC will vary throughout the week and at each event, all are welcome to attend. Our focus will be on educating and linking people to PrEP and building the economic structure of the LGBTQ+ communities. We will be providing HIV testing (Knowing Your Status), incentives, entertainment, limited transportation assistance, cosmetic tips & tricks, training on addressing HIV Stigma, PrEP education/linkage and refreshments at the events.
